Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that but the free spin on the bearings are slow. They look lubricated but perform slower than other bearings.

Bearings work great!
Yeah so I just got another set of these as a gift. They do pretty good once you break em in.
I am 52. Purchasing and riding my Backfire G2 Black was a perfect introductory board for learning how to use an electric skateboard and easing back into the sport. I skated when I was young and gave it up in my 30’s. I am so happy to be skating again. The Backfire is awesome and brings back childhood nostalgia! What’s better than that? I will answer that question. Both of my son’s and my daughter (who are all in their 20’s) have Backfire electric skateboard’s. When I can, not only spend quality time with my kid’s but do it while sharing the same experience and making memories for a lifetime, it’s a Win, Win! Get a Backfire board. Go outside. Enjoy the life. The Backfire electric skateboard’s are simply 🔥. Getting to skate with the ones you love is awesome. I had to order this part because the fragile bolts that hold the wheel onto the board snapped off and got stuck in the hole. Upon getting this part, it became extremely hard to replace with also the barring breaking off and getting stuck on the motor. Overall the material quality of this specific part is good, there are many engineering flaws as well as safety problems of this part. I was guided to get this part but because of the amount of problems, I felt cheated as I lost money and need to buy a whole new motor in order to fix my board.

Great bearings! I'd say they're at least 30% better than the originals. The job is no joke though. You need a work space, I had a vice i could use to to tap the bearings in and out on. I'd say youl need assembly lube, prefebly silicone based and make sure you tap the bearings in squarely so they don't get jammed in cockeyed. Cleaned the dust and crap out with compressed air and 91% alcohol and a toothbrush. Now that everything's back together it's quieter, smoother and faster than when it was new. 😎👌🤙

great bearings at a great price
2nd hub motor bearing replacement. I'm getting better at it. Don't ride through puddles or the rain because the larger bearings on the inside of the motors (towards the deck) are totally exposed and the water will displace the oil in the bearings and then when the water evaporates there will be nothing but dirt and grit inside the bearings. Sealed bearings would be nice but it doesn't seem Backfire has that option. They should.

Replaced the rear Hub motor bearings after 600 or so trouble free miles. One of the four old bearings was making I little noise but not bad. Decided to take care of it before it became a downed board. My son and I did the job in about a half an hour with basic tools and a bench vice. G2 black easy fix. The right parts and great customer service. I could not be happier with the 2 boards I bought about a year ago.
