Amazing, helpful staff helped order parts after my board was hit by a car
The enclosures and charging ports are special designed for Backfire Electric Longboard which match with the screw holes in the deck of specific models.
Disclaimer: since June 2020, we have updated the charging port cable connecting to the battery for G2 and Ranger X2. Please check your style clearly before purchasing and select the correct one based on the images below. If you are not sure which style you have still, please check with our support and show the picture of your cable type before making a purchase for your replacement.
Backfire Mini ,G3, G3 plus, Zealot & Zealot S are using the old style charging port since beginning, unchanged.
Ranger X3 and Hammer are using XT30 plug charging port.
The dimensions for the enclosures (for DIY purposes):
- Enclosure size for G2T, G2 black and Galaxy: 10.7 inch * 7.4 inch * 2 inch
- Enclosure size for Ranger X1 & X2 : 10.8 inch * 7.7 inch * 2 inch

My photo is of the other one the part of the plastic cap snapped and broke the front of it where it would become pushed in I just hit a pothole… zzz but yeah thanks for shipping it out fast after I waited a week and it was stuck at shipping still hasn’t shown up the one yall sent me works flawlessly idk what else to say but thank you so much, I can’t wait for my 4x4 sledge hammer to get fixed… you are gods people.. thanks again I get paid at the end of the week But I kinda need two front and one rear tire they are cracked and shattered if you want get photos I can try but it’s hard to see the black and the silver metal but yeah my point also I wanted to get the larger battery’s, for th r board cause you guys are moving in with new products which all look soooo amazing and I wish I waited and saved my money but if you guys could help me finagle that larger battery’s I get I’m at 180 atm for it , I might be able to have another 200-300 on top if you could put in the extended battery cause in 4x4 my battery goes dead :( so fast again thanks for helping me and dealing with me over the years … I got the worst luck <3 really wish I could afford the zeolotx I think the white one all with the lights .. but the sledge hammer is for winter or cold seasons which is why I need the 4x4 but rran I really need the extended battery cause yeah I dont wanna get stuck in a snow storm again lol I love the sledge hammer so much but that battery issue and the fact bus ran it over didn’t even care … it was insane to me the disrespect a I’m people.. not its some lost cause I choose to ride backfire boards instead of driving my car… idk best company hands down in the eboard world I wish I could get the newer all terrain one soo badly cuz damn it’s sexy but I’m soooo poor right now anyway thanks <3 ~MaxJGannon

On my third one for my board, apparently they do not hold up to water very well, well at least the USB alot doesn't, the board charging terminal is pretty good, but I've defs has problems with my USB charging port.... Only if they said that somewhere?.... JUDT KIDDING, they totally told me, 100% on me, I mean they even sent me a private email saying 🤖do not ride your board through water, it's extremely dangerous to the battery🤖, good times... Good times... But yea the product is good
pretty good, however i am about to buy another one because the charging ports keep stop working (probally my fault) i put in a picture because i hhad to figure out myself how the battery fit into the pack, yyour welcome
With the new battery cover, my board is like new. It includes all the connective wiring you need to make the swap.
The battery casing is the worst feat of engineering I’ve seen. If they actually did a tensile test of it they would find that the little bits of plastic in the mid location are nowhere near the strength they need to be to avoid cracking over a period of time. They have multiple weak points that almost look purposely designed to just crack with a little cold or a little bump.
So happy i’ve just reached 3000 kilometres with my Zealot S and i’m so happy with it! it’s the most fun i’ve had on the roads in a long time. I’m also so appreciative that after having my board for a year, Backfire did the service of sending me a brand new casing for my battery after it had cracked off on one side and become unusable! i have since installed the new battery casing, which sadly did not come with the original purple lights :( , but the white lights are brighter and safer anyway, and covered it in a layer of duct tape and electrical tape to protect against damage.
I bought this part because my skateboard malfunctioned. Indeed the remote control only indicates 25% charge and does not accept the charge. This is not normal because when I put it in my car it was fully charged and when I took it out it was no longer charged. Believing that it came from this cable which was a little oxidized I ordered it. But it cost me 52.99 dollars with shipping so it's not normal! It could have been sent by regular mail. In addition the support service has not yet helped me properly to find a solution to repair my board that's why I put the minimum star

My kid’s Super73 RX E-bike had an electrical arc and complete melt down of its charging port. Someone else had mentioned that this was the appropriate replacement for the battery. I took the $15 gamble and it was a perfect replacement. Easy install, fast shipping. Very happy and it saved me $1000 not having to purchase a new battery.

It was hard getting the original battery out of the broke case but the new case is good!
Worked perfectly to repair charge port on Super73 48v battery for an RX bike. Appears to be identical to OEM part. Plugs matched. Bought some stretchy heat resistant web tubing, liquid electrical tape and 3” tamper resistant star bits to do the work properly.
Works better than original charging port from may 2023
Works great! Pretty easy to install. I just wish it came with some instructions and more padding/sealer to replace that which was on the board originally
Hadn’t even gotten here yet. First package got sent back. Second one had been in New Jersey for the past week saying it’s “transferring to the next facility”
Perfect replacement for damaged REI e-bike battery charging port.
My battery started to have issues when I tried charging it. I thought it could be the switch and I wasn't about to let this battery just go by the wayside knowing that it costs almost $200 so I tried a new switch and it did the trick. Turns out there was a short in one of the wires and I think I probably caused it from switching batteries back and forth. I put some duct tape on the connecting cable to keep it from moving when I switch out batteries. This hopefully should prevent future shorts in the wire. I guess you live and learn.
So I called the company stating that my battery cover was broken and that the screws came off. Unfortunately, my insurance with the actual backfire company had expired by a week or so, so I couldn't just give it back for them to fix so I had to order the cover. Backfire told me to order the cover then and do it myself because I got added insurance for the board but they don't even cover it because it's considered "cosmetic" which doesn't make any sense. It literally holds the battery in place and is highly needed for it. I order the battery cover and the screws are not even included. So I have a new batter cover with just missing screws. I don't write reviews like this but I was just upset lowkey.

I have had my board for approx. 2 years. The three prong plug on the board broke. Some how not sure, maybe using the wrong plug adaptor, one of the 3 prongs broke. I called and looked online to order the part. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Once I removed the screws to the charging housing it was a simple and easy repair. Anyone that has taken apart anything this would be a simple repair. However I had one issue. I don't normally look at all the screws holding on the battery and charging area. One of the screws was missing. I went to the local hardware store and found an exact size match for the screw. I took all blots off and used blue locktight to reattach. Hopefully I won't be loosing any more screws. I love the board and plan to buy another. Thank you
