I bought the remote but couldn’t connect it at first because I was doing something wrong and when I sent them an email they were very helpful and responsive. In the end I was able to connect.

Press and hold the power button on the board until you see it flashing quickly, press and hold the power button on the remote, after about 5 seconds, the remote will pair to the board.

Press the speed mode button on the remote(beside the power button): the digit screen will show Eco mode or Sport mode.
Q: How to change to reverse mode?
Double click on the speed mode button the remote, it will change from forward to backward, double click again, it will change to forward mode.

this remote works great, was a little weird to try and connect to my board but it worked in the end
Remote connected seamlessly and easily to board first time after following instructions on how to put the board into pairing mode (hold power button for 5+ seconds until it starts blinking very rapidly). Feels nice in hand and button response and sensitivity are good. Have large hands so the wrist loop is a bit small for me, but not a big deal at all, it still works.
I am having the same problem with my remote isn't charging anymore what to do should I buy one more is it going to be the same after 33 month's of use ?
My remote controller would not charge and it appeared that the only solution was to order a new one. After receiving the replacement, it was discovered that tit was simply the charging cord that was the problem and I did not need to order a new controller. Too bad there is not a better way to determine what the problem is, when you cannot charge a remote controller...

Easy set up, no problems
Remote works perfect and connected to my board right away, I love the rubber texture it has. Stays in your hand and having a screen to tell you the battery helps in more ways in one. To sum it up. This replacement remote works great and my option better then the one that came with board 10/10 would recommend
It's a very nice remote..it feels nice in hand and the wheel has plenty of room to make your ride enjoyable. I have a Backfire G2 also and this Meepo remote has a bigger screen .
