The best electric board i've ever had!
My old backfire board broke after 3 years commuting to work. Two kids in college meant I needed to get a good price. My new board is sweet and getting something this quality for $300. Chefs kiss amazing. Hope this one lasts like the last one did!
Love the board. The belt drive vs hub drive was a big factor for me. It gets me up the big hill in my neighborhood even on Eco mode and comfortably back down. One of the tires started to tear not long after I received the board, within 5 rides, but customer service was very quick to send me a replacement. Overall I think it's a great board for the price, and a good entry point.

Fun ride
The zealot x is like riding a mythical creature. More power than I know what to do with. Glowing deck makes it all the more magical. All I need now is the cloud wheels to float over the minor bumps and life will be great 👍
Experience was pretty good. Good and fast communication, quick delivery. Only thing is that the board is slightly damaged (I knew it), otherwise its great.
Its a great starter board. I like it a lot, but there are some issues. Buy this board to see of you like Eskating, then get a more expensive board later on. Pros: Fast speed Great maneuverability Low price Looks cool Cons: Battery dies too fast (1-1.5 hr ride time, probably 7-10 miles at most.) It gets this wobble at 35 mph The wheel got cracked a bit. Still useable, but not cool. Too short for my comfort. Thats my personal issue, not for everyone else.
The box showed up tattered and the board had some damage.The remote disconnects from the board at random and the motors are loud, sound like they're bogged down. It tops out at about 22 miles per hour and only rides for about 7-8 miles. It was a bit of a let down and this is my second board from backfire that didn't function well.

Man for being refurbished this board looked brand new kid u not. And as for the pic of the wrist guard wraps I’m thankful for those cuz I biffed it and those saved my hands and I didn’t have a scratch on my hands at all Love the range with the speed that it’s capable of I do wish it charged alittle faster tho but love the board over all

Board arrived quickly, and just wow!! This board is awesome!! Have not gotten to top speed yet as 30 mph is really fast on a skateboard. 10/10 for everything I was hoping for in an electric longboard. Would definitely recommend Backfire Skateboards to anyone looking to buy an electric skateboard.
G2 Black Refurbished came looking most excellent with very small cosmetic blemishes. After 40 miles of riding it has far exceeded my expectations. Not the quickest, fanciest, or longest distance electric skateboard. But this old dude who has been skating since the 80s is having a blast. Takes on bigger hills than I expected. Wish I had purchased this years ago. Even stuck some lights on for night time safety around town.
This is my first electric board and Ive never had a skateboard or longboard before. I choose backfire because I heard about their customer service through online posts and tried my friends zeolot. This board is awesome, I haven't used the full range on it yet but it performs like it's brand new so far. There are some some visual scuffs because I bought it used (I also rode it through a puddle) but I can't wait to use it to get around my college campus when I get off break.
So this is my first E board and I was going to wait till the end of the year to get one until I saw they put up a pre owned section! My expectations where kinda low.. but what I got was a shock! To me. I got the OG box with the accessories ( T-tool, extra bolts, extra belt and extra guards) being used.. I wasn't expecting this at the price I paid (300$). I was thrilled. I only put 4 miles as of right now, but the board drove GREAT (so far). Not a single issue, I went about 20mph but got a little worried lol so stoped, not used to that but loved it. I was a skater for about 10 years never really messed with longboards.. Overall I went with this brand because allot of words from mouth and youtube videos vouched for there customer service, plus this board came with a 90 day warranty so with those 2 things together I think I'll be in good hands. Finally for me just getting into it and not having to spend a GRIP load of money and still getting a good solid board, I'm a huge fan of this hobby and will likely stick with it and this brand! I'll update if the board has major problems in the next 90 days.. if not! It was a solid purchase!!!
Board worked good as new, except the lights weren't working. Backfire sent a new ESC immediately, which fixed the problem. Super stoked!

I was lied to about the odometer. I was told the board only had 33 miles and when I got it the board read almost 100 on the odometer. Left rear wheel does not turn as well as the others. Chip in the back of board

I love the board and it was fun to ride for the first ride and now the remote wont stay connected while I’m on the board. I’ve tried everything to get it to connect and stay connected but it does not want to
It was a good and easy process and came in the 7 day window provided. The used board can in good shape I got it at alike 15 miles and I’ve got 60 on the odometer and had no problems so far.
It’s a good board. I however thought it would have the lighting like depicted in the video but I am happy to have a good board at a reasonable price. I was just a bit deflated about the lighting situation
Board works great and is blast to cruise around on! I was impressed with the acceleration, especially once you put it in sport mode. Great purchase!

Customer service was fantastic, I emailed ahead of time on some questions and received prompt response. The main reason I ordered from Backfire was due to the customer service reputation. The board itself was exactly as described and so far, I love it! Haven't been able to use it much yet but the first time, I could see why so many people love this form of transportation.
What an awesome board! Worked great, took a little digging to figure out the remote programming as it came programmed wrong but was a simple fix.

Absolutely loving it, I got it at the beginning of spring break last Monday, and in one week I put on 125 miles Obsessed
I ordered a refurbished Era 2 Zen. When I received the board, one of the hub motors had noticably more resistance then the other, likely because one was replaced in the refurbish. However, the board kept turning itself off if I stepped in a certain spot, and I would have to plug it in to the charger to get it to turn back on. Backfire identified the issue with the battery and sent a replacement right away, which was great; However, I think if you are going to sell refurbished products you should make sure they are in perfect working condition before you ship them out. It was a decent save on their end, but it's entirely unprofessional that they sent me a "tested" product that I immediately had to fix. They could have at least offered some replacement grip tape for the inconvenience, since the tape that came on the board is now destroyed from having to replace the battery. The board itself is great, the power to the motors is plenty to get around town and the battery capacity seems pretty good. I haven't run it all the way out yet though.
Honestly it’s been two whole weeks now just yesterday I had to go into work and currently car is in the shop. I rode my longboard for 9 miles and every single pebble every CRACKKK every gap this board took on the way to work. Let’s not even mention the hill PLUSS MY WEIGHT I was shocked how of a bad ass this board is. Most definitely saving up for the all terrain version. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. You won’t be disappointed at all.
I run a small rental car business and needed a way to get to and from when delivering vehicles . I needed something small enough to fit in compact vehicles but still serve as a mode of transport . I ordered a refurbished G5 and it showed up in a reasonable amount of time and in my opinion was basically flawless. I have had the board for a few weeks now and so wish I had ordered one sooner !! It does exactly what I hoped it would and more . Typically I use Uber as my transportation but with the board I no longer have to go that route . With the amount iam going to save it will be paid for in less than 1 month !! The board is AWESOME !! Mahalo Richard
It takes a little getting used to at first of course but once you get the hang of it you want to go more and more the only slight problem I have with it is that the screen on the remote is so small that I can't really read what % it's at when it's saying low battery but other than that it's an amazing board
The board was great...got about 14 whole miles on it before some thief snagged it... companies really need to offer some type of tracking on these things...or a way to lock the board to the user.
I got the refurbished ERA 2. It is pretty much new. Great Dear!
