The Backfire Special - Zealot X handle is designed for Backfire Zealot X and Zealot X2 electric longboards and is also compatible with most common electric longboards. It features a T-shaped center hole specifically designed to fit the Zealot X and Zealot X2 light system. It does NOT fit the Ranger or Hammer Series.
The other standard handle option is not compatible with the Zealot X or Zealot X2. However, it still fits most common longboards and electric skateboards, including Ranger X2, X3, X5 & X6 and Hammer series.

I don't like how it keeps making that loud, annoying, clacking sound. The two metal pieces in the handle came out, I glued them back in and one came out again. The stopping pads on the handle could've been protruding out a little bit more because the spring slams the handle down fast and it's metal to metal contact when it hits.

The experience has been more than satisfactory, highly recommended, the handle is very resistant wherever you look at it, it is somewhat noisy since it has a magnet and it makes knocks when you release it and when you go through some vibrations on the terrain, the worse it keeps the profile of the board simple

Handle fits perfectly under the zealot/s deck and makes the board far more portable, especially for larger, heavier aftermarket wheels.
A must have accessory! Acts as a brush guard to protect your nose, convenient handle for picking up and can easily keep your remote in place when storing. Worth the purchase!
Great handle. Super stable. Wide enough to not block lights. I added one to both ends since they also function as bash guards :)
Foldable handle on the back of the Zealot S. Put it in on the back since the front wheels without resistance. Great handle that gods out of the way. Only slight rattle when in very bumpy roads. Piece of felt added under the handle eliminates that. Included screws are incorrect type, they do not have a tapered seat to sit in handle. Hardware store get 10-32 flat head machine screws in 2” length (these work with shred lights bracket as well). Use original nuts. Black sharpie on the screws heads, all done. Thanks Backfire!!
this handle is so much more heavy duty than i thought.
I reverse mounted 2 Backfire tow handles on my DIY build for the purpose of having handles to grab onto if I wanna drop down low while riding. They serve a greater purpose beyond just being tow handles as well as look asthetically amazing, giving the board a very premium, high end look but still also retaining their purpose as tow handles. Other tow handles would not fit the way these ones do. Would consider doing this on other fork style drop-through builds if they fit.
after my last handle got crushed by a car, i realized that it was tough enough to protect my board ffrom the weight of a car, also, this is the cleanest, most comfortable handdles i have ever used

Love the handle; probably one of my favorite accessory‘s! Easy to pick up and and walk w board. I do have the spoiler added as well but I only use one riding at night for the tail lights. Awesome product Backfire 🙌
Not only does it help when leaning your board against the wall, but it also makes for easier carrying and easier support while riding at higher speeds.

The product is good overall. I put it on a G3 and I wish the handle had more room for my whole hand to go in, It's very tight. When I was putting it on, there was something wrong with the threads and I had to tighten it with force and it ended up breaking the thread. The threads are broken but it's screwed tight enough for it to work.
The handle is really well made. Feels sturdy and it’s very useful when pulling the board around as there is no other great option except maybe pull from the trucks. Looks good up front. But can be placed in the rear too.
Great product! The board is super heavy and awkward to carry, so this handle makes all the sense.
Perfect handle for my 50lb+ DIY. My last one had sharp edges that dug into my hands/fingers.
Does what it needs to do. Quality is there. Don’t bother cheaping out on other handles. They won’t last.

Shakes and rattles as you go over bumps because magnets are to weak otherwise its ok and it scratches easily
Love the idea of the handle with the spring and it serves its purpose but it makes so much noise that my son has to ride with his foot on the handle so it doesn’t rattle placing his back foot in an awkward position which isn’t as stable as how he would normally ride. Annoyingly loud!
Handle works great but rattles so you have to step on the handle while skating to not deal with the noise

Great handle really easy to install just gets a little uncomfortable when holding for longer periods of time cause it's a thin metal bar but easy to fix by wrapping in in something
Actually is extremely helpful, way easier to carry my Zealot S2 and no longer have to grab front trucks and deal with the back occasionally scrapping the ground. Also, super cool that this doubles as a bump guard in the front

Ok, the idea of this is great. It’s really good for what it is, beefy, well made, sturdy, spring loaded to stay down. Don’t let the following critiques dissuade you from buying it. 1) there are rare earth magnets in the handle and in the base, meant to prevent rattling I assume…but they come unglued and it rattles on rough rides anyway, a cushioned method would be better. 2) there’s a huge missed opportunity here in that there should be a nose guard portion built into this protecting the nose of the deck, it would take like a half inch of material. Seriously, this NEEDS to happen. 3) the mounting holes are counter sunk for an angled head and the bolts provided are flat button head, they work, but I feel like it’d be more secure with the correct bolts. It’s totally worth it and probably the best handle made. It folds out leaving the board to be at the perfect height to roll around. Buy it.
I didn’t think this was a very important add on, but dang was I wrong!!! I am really impressed with the handle! I was just grabbing the front truck and moving this by that and was all the time dropping or grabbing by the bottom of the nose only to have the board slip out of My sweaty hands. Well neither is a problem any longer! This thing is awesome and I made a bracket in my garage to stand the board up (takes up less space) and use the handle to attach a strap! Best purchase yet for my Ranger X3 and it acts and performs like a redneck brush guard and protects the front when I’m off road! Love it!
