Bought this charger to replace the one for my x2 (the original quit working after a couple of years) the new one works great, it’s really the only backfire product that I’ve ever replaced, it was well used, and I’m happy to buy a new one

Once you realize how long it takes to charge for however much battery your board has then it’s easier to calculate charging times between rides. Very sturdy though, I take it on most of my rides to increase distance when taking trips to multiple destinations.

My old charger (left) died, wouldn't shine it's green light when plugged in to the wall, lit up green when plugged in to the board but didn't charge (turns red while charging). The new charger (right) works just as well as the old one, has a new look on the back with text and instructions more clearly visible. Don't know if they changed anything inside, same output. It's the US version and I live in Sweden, changing from the US plug to EU/Sweden was no problems, uses a pretty standard connection, same as my tv. Hopefully this one lasts longer than a year.

Sent the wrong controller and after dealing with your tech department which they were very nice and professional and prom t. A determined it was the wrong controller is what I thought from the start now they want me to print out a label and send it back and I live in the middle of bump ofucked Egypt . Finding a UPS store to be a pain in my butt cuz I don't have a printer and I thought it would be just easier to send the right controller and then when you send it just have an envelope in there already with a return address I can put the old one in there. But you guys want the other controller back first which it isn't my fault that you sent the wrong one and like I'm really going to try to keep that one when I can't use it seems stupid to me so if my schedule it's going to be a while before I get to ride my skateboard again because I haven't even had a chance to go get the label printed and get that thing so that's why you get one star I love my skateboard I've had it for 7 years I think and have had nothing go wrong with it. But I paid for a controller that I didn't get and now I got to do a bunch of other stuff I didn't sign up for to get it after I paid for it I just want to ride my skateboard I've done three concerts now at stadiums where I'm now walking around backstage instead of riding my skate and he stadium for big what a pain in the ass

This charger works well and the LED light indicator is very helpful. It also doesn’t get too hot which is good. I did have an issue where it just stopped working at about 14 months old. However Backfire customer support served me very well and they are the reason I will continue to buy and recommend Backfire.

Glad I got it in quick and even more glad it works for my g3. 2nd year with that board and still runs perfectly fine. Good product😆😆😆 make sure to let customers know NOT to accidentally hold the throttle and turn on the board it activates an e break and the board will dead stop if active while riding. Just letting you know.
