Great Board
I love the feel of this board! It was great out of the box and when paired with RipTide bushings it went to phenomenal!! So surfy and nimble! Great for casual cruising and short commutes!

I recently got back into skateboarding with surfskates because they are so flowy and fun. Having one with a motor is even better. The Nalu performs great and I cannot wait to enjoy the summer with it!
My new favorite way to carve around town. The nalu loves to turn, and makes every ride to the store way more fun. I love the lights, keeping me visible while I’m ripping turns when the sun goes down.
Good board
This board is outrageously fun. I love love love that it flies under the radar with no big battery bump. I used to ride my old longboard years and years ago when I was back in school and lived near some hills, but these days my neighborhood is flat. Enter Nalu, sport mode provides the perfect constant thrust for wide gentle carves down the whole street. It’s like the perfect pitch hill forever! I thought about buying an eskate for years and I am so happy I bought this board. Nice job team! To me, this is perfect.
Its been a couple months and about 150 miles total. I use it for the fun of cruising and carving about 50% of the time, and the rest is errands and trips to work. Most of the pavement here is rough and the board handles it well. At 5 foot six inches tall, 150 pounds I get a max turbo speed of 16 mph. The trip home from work is 7 miles, mostly uphill and it completes it starting from full charge. I typically run it in sport mode for errands and trips and turbo for cruising. The wheels urethane is holding up well at 150 miles. I have not noticed any degradation in motor performance or battery performance. I do ride it daily, follow the instructions for charging and this may affect the battery performance. I have not let it sit idle longer than 2 days. For the amount of daily use, from getting food on my lunch break, or just cruising for fun, I feel this is a solid purchase for the price. Definitely recommend
Fantastic, lightweight, portable, beautifully designed, with a range of 17 to 21 kilometers. Super stable and with a great turning radius. I have several e-skates, and this one is the most fun with the surf truck. The experience is different; you don't need much speed or a long range to have a great time. Carving in a small space is extraordinary. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to do some snowboarding in the off-season and on the streets. Thanks to the Backfire team, excellent product.
Super fun board. I only use surfskates and Nalu is much like one. I can pump without electricity and when I want I can use the motor for cruising.
The best board I’ve ever had!! I’m addicted to skating all because of how good this board is!! I’m going to need new wheels soon as I’m wearing them out!! Get Cloud Wheels to make some to suit the Nalu board plea
Love this board! It’s not the best option for long rides — it’s not super fast and the autonomy is a bit short — but it totally makes up for it with its compact size and practicality. Easy to carry, smooth to ride. Super happy

The Nalu is a beautiful board that is well designed and constructed. It is stable, agile and fun. Great for carving and enjoying time out skating. It works wonderfully for exactly what it is. I have enjoyed every second with it. I am looking forward to finding a pump track to try, but in the mean time, I’ll be carving up the pavement.🙂 Thank you Backfire for adding this to the line
I love this board! I preordered it back in October of 2024 and it did not disappoint. I got the board at the beginning of February and I’ve already put almost 400 km on it. It’s super fun, I only wish it had a longer ran
I wanted to get better balance on a skateboard but would get tired from pushing myself up hill and shit like that so being able to have a consistent motion of movement to focus on training balance and steering it is awesome. Not too sure what some of the remote vibrations mean, I get a good idea of what it could mean if the battery is low but I'll just be riding and it vibrates for some reason.

The board is exactly what was advertised. It's fun to ride, works great as a commuter board and it's pretty. I love it. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the app. It doesn't work and is frustrating.

A fun board to ride and very smooth with enough range for local cruising .Backfire customer service are always excellent in the times I have dealt with them over several purchases.Highly recommend the Nalu
The Nalu board is incredible, I also have one of the other versions which is a longer eboard and although it's a nice ride it's nothing like this new skate surf style board which has incredible turning ability, the comfort and the speed are excellent, the controller, the functions and the ease of use is super high quality, highly recommend it to anyone!

I use to make carver surf skate trucks back in high-school in the foundry and rode carver since my teens! After finding Esk8 a few years ago this is the perfect mix of esk8 and surfskate! So much fun to rip around
LOVE the board, just minor issues with the remote. It sometimes just doesn't turn on or off after holding the power button for a few seconds. Even after a few attempts at it, it takes a while for it to function properly.

I have a wall of electric skateboards, and the Nalu is probably the most enjoyable! It's so surprising.. Yeah it's not fast, it's not powerful.. but holy shit is it fun and it's super light weight. You cannot tell it's electric..
This skateboard is great. It’s compact, has great battery life and features. It’s also powerful enough to smoothly move me around at 225lbs. I like the lighting around the edges, makes evening cruises safer on top of just looking cool. Lastly it feels well made, and the speed is fast enough to be fun, but not fast enough to scare me. Thanks for the great product!
Super fun surf skate! Loosened the front truck for even tighter turns. Top speed is slower than most longboards, but the fun is in the carving so the speed isn’t an issue.

I absolutely love this board! The only reason why it got one star off is because of the limit of usba to usbc charging. I believe adding the capability to use USBC to USBC would be beneficial as that is almost the market standard for electronics. The grip tape is absolutely perfect. The speed is beautiful for coasting.
