The wheels just came apart on me tonight! So unhappy with the g5 and the cloud wheels! My g3, which was stolen, was amazing, the g5 huge disappointment! I was, so backfire, 💯, till this fiasco! Backfire, make it right with me!

I love the wheels they roll over just about everything however the star-shaped bolts that go through are absolute crap. While I was skating the other day three of them backed themselves out and strip way too easy!

The wheels look great, but they don’t make much of a difference in the ride quality and reduce the speed of the board tremendously. Would not buy again😡

The wheels are maybe 20% more comfortable than the 96mm. Sidewalks and rough pavement are still uncomfortable and jarring. This coupled with the decreased range will make me likely go back to the 96mm ones once these wear out. The videos and reviews I saw were deceiving. All in all I still enjoy the board.

The tires were delivered a lot faster than i anticipated! And they work amazing, road vibrations litterally depending on the road are insignificant. love them😍 As for the battery consumption i cant really tell the difference and i ride avidly!!! Totally recommend

These wheels are what you need to become the ultimate road surfer. I bought them just because I was curious to see how they would feel. I will never put my stock wheels back on unless absolutely necessary. I’ve road +200 miles on these wheels so far and the tread/grip is still there. I’ve also gone through grass, dirt, sand, gravel, mud, etc. The only grief I’ve experienced was when the sand became more than 4” deep. Sidewalk cracks/bumps are more comfortable. Even those little bumps at the end/beginning of every sidewalk you just don’t feel them now. I can also go over curbs from sidewalk to road now with ease. Would highly recommend upgrading your battery, motor, and enclosure for high performance, and maximum distance.

(Note: that the wheels are dirty from riding, they were pretty out the box ☺️ ) My 10 year old rides the backfire electric skateboard, we replaced it's original wheels with the baby blue cloud wheels last weekend. She noticed the difference immediately. She said it's so much more of a smoother ride. And it's easier for her to go over rough asphalt, side walk cracks and small gravel. The fact it made her feel more stable and safe on the bored was worth the cost of the wheels.

Changes the ride for the better definitely! Gives you more confidence while carving at higher speeds. I'm dropped a star because I have used them for about a month and they have worn very quick especially in the back. The nature of the hub motors heating up adds to quicker wear. For 140 dollars I most likely will put my original wheels on after the cloud wheels wear out. I ride daily and am a heavier rider at 225 lbs.

I was a little skeptical about cloud wheels but I am so glad I bought them. A lot of reviews I came across said the grip wasn't that great and the durability wasn't so hot but I haven't had any issues with any of that. In fact I think it felt better while carving and did increase the top speed a bit. It lowered my range slightly but not too much of an issue. Installation was a breeze. Overall, super glad I got em. Thanks Backfire!

LOVE the light blue cloud wheels with the Backfire G3!!! I just went 5 miles today with my wife and daughter on their bikes. We had a blast! 30 miles total so far. I can ride on the sidewalk when needed. On the road, the carving and feel was really nice!!! For super super smooth roads, I still prefer the original G3 wheels. For sidewalks and rougher asphalt roads, Cloud wheels all day!

Superb G3 now fitted with backfire cloud wheel. Dramatically changes the board on rougher surfaces. Would highly recommend the cloud wheels. Board has great flex and I am nearly 100Kg and still boarding age 59. Never stop pushing the boundaries.

These wheels are a game changer for the mini. The bigger softer iclouds give it a smoother ride with significantly less vibration I love them. They were a bit expensive yet they were worth it. You get what you pay for.

Installed on my black, it roughly eliminated 60% of the vibration. For me it's a new board now, perfect for riding on the paved road and the side walk.
