Zealot Maintenance

The most common thing you will be working with on your Zealot is the Belt Tension System. This is a feature included on boards manufactured before June 2020 newer customers won't have to worry about this. Here is a video from Daniel Kwan below that explains how to take care of your belts.

If you hear any clicking noises coming from the rear wheels either there is some debris stuck in the pulley system or the grub screw has come loose. Please check your belts and pulleys. The grub screw holding the motor pulley on can sometimes come loose. Here is a video that shows how to fix the pulley grub screw.

For more general electric skateboard maintenance check out Daniel Kwan's video for how to take care of your board. Remember to regularly inspect all screws on your board and tighten them as necessary.

Hi, for belt tension I read “This is a feature included on boards manufactured before June 2020 newer customers won’t have to worry about this.” My board arrived yesterday with the right belt much more tight then the one on the left, it’s too much tight, how can I adjust the tension?
