So bright almost feel embarrassed using it. Arguably brighter than some car headlight. Only downside is that to remove it you slide it forward so if you come to a immediate stop it will fly off due to the momentum and you will end up loosing it. Personally that’s how I’ve lost all of mine. I’ve been through about 4 of them so far.

Tail lights are cool although one fell off and I had to luckily go find it since it was on! The light on top of the board was hard to get on and off, broke off my board right away after my 3rd time out from too many bumps. The metal is way too weak, can almost bend it with your fingers where it attaches to the bracket!

brighter than my future ( very very bright)

Love the light. Really wish the Rail on the light wasn't plastic. One good impact and it gets destroyed

Loved it at first but in a short time two of them have broken. They both broke at the base, the plastic channel that mounts to the base. One tumbled and won't turn on, the other still works so I hold it in my hand when I ride.
My dissatisfaction isn't that they break. My dissatisfaction comes from going online to find this is a common problem and you haven't fixed it yet still feel great selling them.
You're a good company making a popular product. Your reputation is good, don't mess that up with a $30 light!

Absolutely the best and brightest light on the market.
Have this light on all my boards!

Light is bright, weather resistand, and seems to be mostly of good quality. I experienced the same issue as others. Where the light connects to the mount is 2 thin plastic grooves. It broke and came loose the first five minutes of riding. The position of it in front of foot is prone to being accidentally kicked or pushed. It's not a deal breaker, but I would like to see this improved or redisigned. Everything else about my board is solid, excluding this flimsy cheap plastic light mount connection. It had me worried about the quality of the rest of the board. I would return the light, but I know the replacement would snap off just as quick. It's a shame because everything else included is robust and of high quality. I've put 100 hard miles on my G2T in a short amount of time, and it has taken it like a champ. Backfire, please fix this issue, it is leaving a bad taste in customer's mouths.

We recently purchased the Ranger X2 and the light came included. We have been using it for the past months daily in the cold damp weather in Seattle. So far the light is living it up to my abuse, kicked it out by mistake on to cement several times. Gone throw damp grass, the bight throw of the beam will get you noticed and highly visible for the rider. This is well build with strong aluminum housing. I highly recommend this light. I have this installed in the front and shred light red in the rear, looks gorgeous!

Had this wheel for about 5 days of riding and the plastic lip that holds the light to the metal mounting bracket broke clean off so that the light will not stay attached to the bracket or board. Email Backfire customer service about this and they are very good, got me a pre-paid shipping label for me to send the light to them to repair. Received the fixed light back after only about 7 days which really impressed me. However, after riding again with the new light on the board after about 7 days it broke in the exact same spot as it did before! It is clear that the design of the light which is plastic and the mounting bracket which is metal is a recipe for disaster. The reason I am giving this review a 2 star instead of a 1 star is due to Backfires customer service which is outstanding. I think Backfire just needs to go back to the drawing board with this light and just make either the light metal (which would cost more) or the bracket plastic (which could be a little sketchy for durability but would cost less from a manufacturing stand point.)
